CHICAGO - The Minnesota Twins continue to pull away in the American League Central, extending its lead to eight games over the White Sox with a 9-3 win in Chicago.
Joe Mauer hit a three-run homer and ex-Brewer J.J. Hardy had two hits and an RBI.
The Twins’ magic number is now 10 to clinch the division. Carlos Quentin homered for the White Sox, who’ve lost six-of-eight.
