SAN FRANCISCO - Randy Wolf went the distance for his first complete-game shutout of the season as Milwaukee blanked the San Francisco Giants 3-0. Wolf pitched a three-hitter for his 12th victory.
Despite the loss, the Giants remain a half-game ahead of San Diego in the National League West -- since the Padres were ripped by St. Louis 14-4.
Prince Fielder put Milwaukee on top with an RBI-single in the first inning, then Carlos Gomez plated a run with a grounder in the fifth. The third and final Brewer run crossed the plate on a wild throw by Giant reliever Jeremy Affeldt. Ryan Braun went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles.
