Durand Invitational cross country meet cancelled due to weather
Durand High School's cross country meet scheduled for this evening at 4 p.m. has been cancelled.
Durand High School's cross country meet scheduled for this evening at 4 p.m. has been canceled.
The meet was scheduled for 4 p.m. at Rolling Greens Golf Course in Durand. Athletic Director Randy Johnson said due to difficulties with logistics and scheduling, the meet will probably not be made up.
Three Pierce County teams were to take part in the meet, Ellsworth, Spring Valley and Elmwood.
Ellsworth will host its own invitational meet Tuesday with Spring Valley and Prescott taking part.
In other weather-related rescheduling - the girls' tennis dual meet between Ellsworth and Bloomer has been postponed as has the Mondovi/Baldwin-Woodville meet. The Ellsworth-Bloomer dual has not been rescheduled yet while Mondovi and B-W will play each other Monday.
