St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - Nikolai Zherdev notched the lone goal in the shootout as Philadelphia nipped Minnesota, 3-2, in preseason action from Xcel Energy Center.

Zherdev and Darroll Powe lit the lamp in regulation for the Flyers, who have had each of their four exhibition games decided in a shootout (3-0-1).

Sergei Bobrovsky got the start and halted 26-of-28 shots, and halted Casey Wellman's final chance in the third round of the extra session.

Chuck Kobasew and Wellman tallied for the Wild, who fell to 0-2-1 in the preseason.

Niklas Backstrom halted 18-of-20 chances but was victimized for Zherdev's winner on the second-to-last chance in the round.

Prior to the game, Minnesota announced that goaltender Josh Harding may miss the entire upcoming season after suffering injuries to the MCL and ACL in his right knee. He was hurt during the first period of Friday's exhibition game against the Blues.
