Klecker brothers’ families reunite in Ellsworth 69 years later

Sixty-nine years later, the children of six brothers who became parents to seven children in one year--1941--assembled for a family reunion Saturday.

"Six Klecker brothers become parents to seven children in one year,” read a headline in the Herald in the fall of 1941.

The brothers were pictured holding their then-young offspring. The photo was taken at the John Klecker home in the Town of El Paso by their sister, Hilda Wussler.

Sixty-nine years later, the children they held during that ’41 gathering assembled for a family reunion Saturday.
