Wild win exhibition game over Finnish pro squad

- The Minnesota Wild finally won a preseason game yesterday with a 5-1 win over a Finnish pro team in Helsinki.

HELSINKI - The Wild finally won a preseason game yesterday with a 5-1 win over a Finnish pro team in Helsinki.

Cal Clutterbuck scored a hat trick against the Ilves Tampere to lead Minnesota to the win. The win came in the final exhibition game of the year for the Wild. The team now practices today and tomorrow in Finland, getting ready for Thursday's regular season opener against Carolina in Helsinki. The opener starts at 11 a.m. Upper Midwest time.

The National Hockey League and the NHL Officials' Association yesterday reached tentative agreement on a new four-year collective bargaining agreement. The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by the membership of the NHL Officials' Association as well as the League's Board of Governors.
