ST. LOUIS - The Wisconsin men’s hockey team will have a lot of new faces tomorrow night, when they open their season against Boston University at the Ice-Breaker Invitational in Saint Louis.

Badger coach Mike Eaves will have rookies on his top two lines, as well as the blue-line group. Wisconsin lost seven-of-its-top-eight scorers from a year ago – and Boston is in a similar position, after losing five-of-its-six top scorers from last season.

Eaves says he’ll start senior goal-tender Scott Gudmandson tomorrow night. Senior Brett Bennett will be considered after that. Wisconsin forward Jason Clark suffered an apparent hip injury on Tuesday. Eaves says he’s not sure if Clark will be able to play this weekend, but he’ll make the trip to Saint Louis anyway.
