Brewers' ticket prices to remain the same in 2011

Wisconsin Sports
-- For the first time since 2004, the Milwaukee Brewers have decided not to raise their ticket prices for next year.

MILWAUKEE - For the first time since 2004, the Milwaukee Brewers have decided not to raise their ticket prices for next year.

Vice president Rick Schlesinger said the economy was one reason – along with the fact that the Brewers played below their expectations this year, while performing in front of baseball’s 11th-largest home crowds.

Almost 2.8 million fans went through the turnstiles at Miller Park this past season. The average ticket price for a Brewers home game is 22-dollars-and-10-cents. The Team Marketing Report said Milwaukee had the eighth-most affordable fan experience in the Majors.
