Badger hockey has weekend series vs. Alabama-Hunstville
Wisconsin Sports-- The Wisconsin men’s hockey team will open its home schedule this weekend against Alabama-Huntsville. Both teams are 1-1.
MADISON - The Wisconsin men’s hockey team will open its home schedule this weekend against Alabama-Huntsville. Both teams are 1-1.
The Badgers are coming off a loss to Boston University and a win over Holy Cross at last weekend’s Ice Breaker Tournament in Saint Louis. Alabama-Huntsville split a pair of games against Ferris State.
Sebastian Geoffrion, a younger brother of ex-Badger Blake Geoffrion, scored for Huntsville in its season opener. Another brother, Brice Geoffrion, is also on the Chargers’ squad. Goal-tender Scott Gudmandson will start for the Badgers tonight.
Game-Two of the weekend series will be played Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center. The Badger women’s hockey team is off this weekend.
