T-Wolves beat Bucks in exhibition contest

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Kevin Love poured in 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Minnesota to a 114-109 preseason win over Milwaukee at Sioux Falls Arena.

Wayne Ellington added 22 points and Michael Beasley chipped in with 12 for the Timberwolves, who shot 51.3-percent from the floor in the victory.

Ersan Ilyasova came off the bench to score 22 points and grab seven boards while Carlos Delfino added 19 points for the Bucks, who made 38-of-45 from the free throw line.

Bucks’ center Andrew Bogut made his pre-season debut, as he comes off injuries to his right hand and elbow. He played the first seven minutes of each half and had 11 points and five rebounds.

The Timberwolves went on a 16-1 run to go up by 15 just before halftime. They were still up by nine with almost three minutes when Milwaukee tried to catch up. It was a three-point game when the Bucks failed to score on their final possession. Ersan Ilyasova led Milwaukee with 22 points, as the Bucks remained without injured players John Salmons, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Jon Brockman, and Corey Maggette. Kevin Love scored 32 for Minnesota, which out-rebounded the Bucks 40-to-32.

The Wolves are now 5-1 this preseason and host Indiana tomorrow night in Minneapolis. The Bucks are 3-3 and play at Cleveland Thursday.
