MADISON - The Wisconsin men’s hockey team swept a pair from Alabama-Huntsville this weekend, winning the series finale 5-to-2 yesterday in Madison.
Jordy Murray scored a hat trick, as the Badgers improved to 3-1. Jake Gardiner and Mark Zengerle also scored for Wisconsin.
Goal-tender Brett Bennett had 18 saves, as he improved to 2-0. Alabama-Huntsville fell to 1-and-3. Wisconsin opens WCHA play next weekend vs. Denver.
