School names Students of Month
Eight Ellsworth High School students, two from each grade level, were named September Students of the Month.
Eight Ellsworth High School students, two from each grade level, were named September Students of the Month.
Freshmen who received the honor are:
Jordan Afdahl was nominated by Rick Clausen, who teaches English 9. Jordan was nominated for being a strong academic leader both in and out of class.
Adam Schuster was nominated by Mr. Clausen, who teaches English 9. Adam was nominated for demonstrating strong academic skills.
Sophomores who received the honor are:
Breanna Horstmann was nominated by Ellen Goodman, who teaches biology. Breanna works hard every day to succeed.
Jeremy Boadwine was nominated by Tim Brusoe, who teaches algebra. Jeremy has maintained the top score in Algebra II.
Juniors:
Kaitlyn Kurrelmeyer was nominated by Mr. Brusoe, who teaches Algebra II. Kaitlyn has done extraordinary work throughout Algebra II class this quarter.
Jackson Bartlett was nominated by Julie Graber, who teaches physical education. Jackson has shown great dedication and hard work over the summer to get ready for this year in sports.
Seniors:
Abbey Halverson was nominated by Mrs. Goodman, who teaches anatomy/ physiology. Abbey puts forth tremendous effort in anatomy. She never gives up and is always trying to do her best in class.
Brock Strain was nominated by Mrs. Goodman, who teaches anatomy/ physiology. Brock is very courteous and works hard in class.
