MILWAUKEE - The UW-Milwaukee men’s basketball team played the first of its two exhibition games Monday. The Panthers will host the Division III Milwaukee School of Engineering at the Klotsche Center on the UWM campus.

It’s the first time the men’s team has not played downtown at the U.S. Cellular Arena since 2004. This year, the Panthers will play both its exhibitions and a “Retro Night” game against Western Michigan at the Klotsche Center.

UWM went 20-14 last season, and is picked to finish fifth in the Horizon League this year. All-conference guard Tone Boyle is back for the Panthers, after missing last season with a back injury. Milwaukee Engineering went 17-9 last season, and won 10 games in the Northern Athletics Conference. MSOE has all-conference senior Austin Meyer back.
