State Sports Briefs: Packers' Tauscher out for the season
Wisconsin Sports-- Offensive lineman Mark Tauscher is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
GREEN BAY - Offensive lineman Mark Tauscher is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
The Packers put Tauscher on injured reserve Friday. The veteran sprained his shoulder in the game against Detoit. He has been replaced in the starting lineup by rookie Bryan Bulaga. Also Friday, the Packers announced they have sighed tight end Spencer Havner. He played for Green Bay in 2008 and 2009. Havner will help fill in for tight end Jermichael Finley, who is out with a knee injury.
