Wisconsin’s bio-science companies plan to give their employees pay raises that average four-point-three percent for next year. That’s according to a survey released today by Bio-Forward, the group that works to attract bio-science operations to Wisconsin.
Matt Shefchik, who’s with the QTI Consulting firm that did the survey, said it’s the first time Wisconsin bio-science operations had their wages examined. Thirty-three companies took part in the survey. Most are in the Madison area, but a few are from around Milwaukee and Marshfield.
The average raise of four-point-three percent was more than one-and-a-half percent more than the raise that bio-science workers got for this year.
