UW men's hockey loses in OT again, women win by same 7-1 score
Wisconsin Sports-- It was similar outcomes for the University of Wisconsin men's and women's hockey teams Saturday
MADISON - A little over a minute into the overtime, Minnesota-Duluth found the net and defeated the Wisconsin men's hockey team 3-2.
That victory gave the Bulldogs a sweep of the weekend series and kept them in first place in the WCHA. Michael Mersch and Jordy Murray had goals for Wisconsin.
The Badgers fall to the .500 mark at 6-6-2, including 3-5-2 in conference. Brett Bennett had 32 saves in the loss.

For a second straight game the Wisconsin women's hockey team wins by a 7-1 score. Junior Hilary Knight came up with her second hat trick of the young season as Wisconsin routed Robert Morris, taking a weekend series sweep. Wisconsin's record is 11-1, including 7-1 in the WCHA. Brittany Haverstock and Brooke Ammerman each had three points. Freshman goaltender Alex Rigsby stayed undefeated with 13 saves. The Badgers outshot Robert Morris 34-14.
