Raiders lose season opener to Alma-Pepin
Elmwood High School's girls basketball team was beaten 58-40 by Alma-Pepin in the season opener for both schools Monday.
PEPIN - Elmwood High School's girls basketball team was beaten 58-40 by Alma-Pepin in the season opener for both schools Monday.
The Eagles had a big second quarter effort, outscoring Elmwood 15-7 and they put more distance on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter, outscor8ing the Raiders 15-6.
A-P's Sophia Reidt led all scorers with 17 points. Ali Pax had 11 points and Christina McKune had 10 for Elmwood. McKayla Brunner finished with eight points.
