47th Ellsworth Wrestling Invitational takes place Saturday

The 2010 Ellsworth High School Wrestling Invitational gets underway at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Boyceville, Cadott, Durand, Medford, Prescott, River Falls, Saint Croix Falls and Unity will compete along with No. 2 ranked Ellsworth in the nine-team, round-robin event.
The Panthers have won six straight invitational titles. Last year EHS edged River Falls 297.5 to 263.5 with Boyceville third with 247 points. It was the first meet in the Invitational’s history where all the team’s scored 100 points or more.
Returning champions are Tyler Thoen of Ellsworth, Aaric Spencer of Medford, Roarke Langer of Ellsworth, Logan Cudd of River Falls, D.J. Yarwood of Ellsworth, Tanner Eggenberger of Ellsworth, Tyson Bystrom of River Falls and Cody Hegeman of Boyceville.
The finals will begin approximately at 5 p.m.
