Wisconsin Sports-- Center Chris Otule hit all nine shots from the field, scoring 19 points and leading Marquette to a 96-65 rout of Longwood.
MILWAUKEE - Center Chris Otule hit all nine shots from the field, scoring 19 points and leading Marquette to a 96-65 rout of Longwood.
Otule came into the game averaging just five points per game. Darius Johnson-Odom scored 14 points as the Golden Eagles put five in double figures. A 27-4 run late in the first half propelled Marquette to a 50-27 half time lead. The Eagles were never threatened the rest of the way as they held Longwood to 36 percent shooting.
The Lancers have lost four games in a row and never got closer than 21 points down the rest of the way. Marquette's record improves to 6-2.
