UMD to host Division II playoff semifinals Saturday
The University of Minnesota-Duluth football team, which has two former Ellsworth High School players on its roster, will play host to Northwest Missouri State int he NCAA Division II Semifinals Saturday.
DULUTH - The University of Minnesota-Duluth football team, which has two former Ellsworth High School players on its roster, will play host to Northwest Missouri State int he NCAA Division II Semifinals Saturday.
Ben Helmer has started the last two games for the No. 1 ranked and undefeated Bulldogs at tight end while Josh Miska is a back-up quarterback. Helmer is a sophomore and Miska a redshirt freshman.
The game will be played on the Bulldogs' home field at Malosky Stadium and kick-off is set for 5 p.m. Last weekend UMD downed NSIC rival Augustana College 24-13.
