Plum City bounces back from Ellsworth loss to top Boyceville
Plum City High School's boy's basketball team evened its record at 2-2 after winning at Boyceville 31-25.
BOYCEVILLE - Plum City High School's boy's basketball team evened its record at 2-2 after winning at Boyceville 31-25 Thursday.
Chase Luebker, playing in his second game back after an ankle injury set him back at the start of the season, scored 17 of his team-leading 19 points in the second half.
With the score tied late in the game, Luebker drove the lane and passed the ball out to Chad Fox for a three-pointer he sank to put his team ahead.
Luebker also made 5-of-7 foul shots in the fourth quarter. The Blue Devils were 7-for-10 at the line as a team in the game.
Luebker, Fox and Tyler Churchill were the only Blue Devils to score. Churchill finished with six points and nine rebounds.
Plum City also evened its record in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference to 1-1 and hosts Pierce County rival Elmwood in a key early season league contest Friday.
