DALLAS - The Milwaukee Bucks came back from 20 points down last night to win at Dallas 103-99, and end the Mavericks’ 12-game winning streak.

The 20-point deficit came at five minutes before the half – and the Bucks caught up a little to trail by nine at the break. In the fourth quarter, Milwaukee was down by five when it went on a 20-to-6 run to lead by nine with 3:10 left. And the Bucks hung on from there. Dirk Nowitzki had a chance to tie it with 11-point-eight-seconds left, but he missed a seven-foot shot. And Keyon Dooling made two free throws to give the Bucks their winning margin.

Nowitzki led all scorers with 30 points, as Dallas dropped to 19-5. Racine native Caron Butler scored nine for the Mavericks – five below his season average. Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 23 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds. Andrew Bogut had another double-double with 21 points and 14 boards as the Bucks pulled off a signature road victory and improved to 10-13.

It was the 1,800th victory for Milwaukee since it joined the NBA in 1969. The Bucks have now won three straight, and they’ll play at San Antonio tomorrow night.
