No beer at TCF Stadium for Monday's game and first come, first served on tickets
Minnesota Sports-- The Vikings have announced that no alcohol will be served at Monday night's game with the Bears at TCF Bank Stadium on the U's campus. The team says it and the University agreed that no alcoholic beverages will be served at the stadium - and neither food nor alcohol can be brought in.

The Vikings announced that seating will be first-come, first-served for ticket holders for Monday's game against the Bears at TCF Bank Stadium. Seating will be general admission with the lone restriction being if a fan has an upper deck seat for the game, that person must sit in the upper deck. If a ticket holder is turned away because the stadium is at capacity, the original ticket holder will receive a full refund. In addition, if a ticket holder prefers to not attend the game, a refund will be given. Season ticket holders will have their 2011 season ticket accounts credited with the ticket value. Single game ticket holders will be refunded through their credit card through Tickemaster. Fans who purchased tickets on the secondary market are on their own.
The Vikings have placed quarterback Tarvaris Jackson on injured reserve and signed Patrick Ramsey to fill the roster spot. Jackson started Monday's game against the New York Giants after Brett Favre's record streak came to an end because of a shoulder sprain. It was a short-lived run for Jackson, who suffered a toe injury during the 21-3 loss and will miss the remainder of the season. With Favre still bothered by the shoulder problem and Joe Webb, the team's third quarterback, coming off a hamstring issue, Ramsey could play in Monday's game against the Chicago Bears. Webb, though, is projected as the starter for Monday. Ramsey, meanwhile, will join his third team this year and his fifth over the past two seasons, but hasn't seen any game action since 2008. The Vikings and Bears will play Monday night at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Officials in Minneapolis say they're "utterly committed" to getting the Metrodome fixed as fast as possible, even though the Vikings have no home games left this season after Monday night. A second collapse late Wednesday at the Metrodome temporarily halted repairs due to safety concerns. The Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission did approve one-point-five-million dollars to fix the bubble but there's no completion date in sight.
