MADISON - Two goals by Podge Turnbull lead the Wisconsin men's hockey team to its fourth straight victory, 5-1, over Massachusetts Thursday night at the Kohl Center.
Frankie Simonelli had a goal and two assists for the Badgers who improved their record to 11-7-3. Wisconsin scored the first three goals of the game and was never seriously threatened the rest of the way. Turnbull now has seven goals on the season.
Wisconsin outshot the visitors 34-19. The Minutemen have a record of 3-8-3. Both teams square off again tonight.
