Wisconsin Sports-- Zack Greinke will meet most of his Milwaukee Brewer teammates for the first time later this month. The team’s biggest off-season acquisition is among 25 players who will appear at the annual “Brewers On Deck” fan-fest January 30th at the Frontier Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee.
MILWAUKEE - Zack Greinke will meet most of his Milwaukee Brewer teammates for the first time later this month. The team’s biggest off-season acquisition is among 25 players who will appear at the annual “Brewers On Deck” fan-fest January 30th at the Frontier Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee.
The team acquired Greinke and Shaun Marcum to beef up its starting pitching. Marcum will also appear at the On-Deck event – but Prince Fielder won’t be there due to a scheduling conflict. Milwaukee’s new manager, Ron Roenicke, will also be there along with his entire coaching staff.
Team vice president Rick Schlesinger says over 40 players, coaches, and Brewer alumni will appear – and it helps make “Brewers on Deck” a hit with fans.
