Elmwood fire assists in Dunn County fire
The Elmwood Fire Department assisted on a fire in Dunn County Tuesday morning.

Firefighters from Menomonie and Elk Mound were also called out before 10 a.m.to E5906 210th Ave. in the town of Dunn for a house fire.
Elmwood Fire Chief Mike Shields said two firefighters and a tanker truck went from his department. He didn’t know how long they were on scene.
Menomonie Fire Chief Jack Baus told the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram nobody was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. He said officials have yet to determine the cause.
The house was a total loss.
