Colbenson named All-State
On Jan. 8, the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association announced the All-State Cross Country Team.
On Jan. 8, the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association announced the All-State Cross Country Team.
Sophomore Breanna Colbenson of Spring Valley High School was named to the Second Team All-State. First and second team honors were chosen from all runners in all three state divisions together.
Colbenson ran an incredible race at the WIAA state meet, dropping nearly 30 seconds off her time from last year. She placed third in Division III.
Spring Valley Head Coach Jim Herold said, “Breanna is an amazing athlete. She works hard; she knows what she wants and makes it happen. She’s a smart runner.”
Spring Valley High School and the community of Spring Valley are proud of Breanna’s accomplishments and the recognition she has received as an All-State runner. Congratulations, Breanna!
