CHICAGO - The Green Bay Packers could become only the second number-six seed to make it to the Super Bowl. All they have to do is beat a strong Chicago Bears team on its home field.
The Packers will follow the lead of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is the hottest QB in the NFL playoffs so far. He hit 31-of-36 passes last week for 366 yards in a 48-21 romp over Atlanta. Rodgers is smoking coming down the stretch, hitting 22 touchdown passes and only two interceptions in his last nine games. He has won four of six starts against Chicago in his career. Meanwhile, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has played very well, but he has lost four of his five meetings against Green Bay and Rodgers. Packer cornerback Tramon Williams has had a good playoff run, too, with three interceptions in the last two games -- one returned for a touchdown.

The Marquette University men's basketball team failed to repeat their upset of Notre Dame, dropping an 80-75 Big East decision in South Bend Saturday. Marquette had beaten the Irish by 22 in the first meeting of the season. Notre Dame's Ben Hansbrough was 10-of-15 from the field and scored 28 points in the win. Cold, 30 percent shooting hurt Marquette in the close game, as did 22 Irish free throws in the second half. Marquette's record falls to 13-7, including 4-3 in conference games. The Eagles were led in scoring by Darius Johnson-Odom's 25 points. Jae Crowder added 15.
