Gopher women pucksters rout Ohio State 8-1
The University of Minnesota women's hockey team scored four goals in the second period to build on a 3-0 lead to win 8-1 at Ohio State.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Minnesota women's hockey team scored four goals in the second period to build on a 3-0 lead to win 8-1 at Ohio State.
Becky Kortum led the U in goals with two. Sarah Davis tallied four assists and Gopher goalie Noora Raty tallied 29 saves.
The U improves 18-6-1 overall, 13-6-1 in the WCHA. Minnesota squares off against No. 1 ranked Wisconsin next weekend.
