Letter: They’re grateful for response by Ellsworth’s emergency crew

TO THE EDITOR: To the Ellsworth Emergency Squad:

Last Wednesday evening, I had a medical emergency that required my wife calling 911 for the emergency squad.

Within minutes, the crew and the ambulance met us in Ellsworth, ready to go. The staff was exceptionally kind and professional, and sooner than I would have imagined, I was at the hospital in River Falls.

Without their quick and professional response, the outcome might not have been positive.

We want to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the actions of the crew Wednesday night. We are fortunate in Ellsworth to have this caliber of volunteers in times of difficulty.
