Winter weather advisories will be in effect in the northeast half of Wisconsin this afternoon and tonight, as another round of snow moves in.
The National Weather Service says a fast-moving system will bring 3-to-5 inches of snow in about the northern half of the state. Two-to-four inches are expected in central Wisconsin. About an inch of snow is predicted for the southern third of the Badger State, with freezing drizzle possible in some places. Lake effect snow could continue into tomorrow near Lake Superior. Bayfield could get up to 10-inches before it’s all over.
Forecasters say it will be dry during the weekend in most of Wisconsin. The next chance for Sunday will be Sunday night and Monday, as another low-pressure system crosses the Midwest.
