BLAINE, Minn. - The Minnesota Twins concluded a very successful albeit smaller version of their annual off season TwinsFest yesterday at the National Sports Center.
Normally the three day event welcomes about 35-thousand baseball hungry fans back to the Metrodome each winter to get an up close look at the big leaguers. This year the Twins moved the event to the National Sports Center in Blaine because of the domes collapsed roof which limited attendance.
This years event sold out early with only 25,000 tickets available. The players and coaches now head home and get ready to head down to Fort Myers and spring training later this month. Pitchers and Catchers are set to report to camp February 17th.
