Ellsworth High School's boys basketball team didn't waste any time stewing over a 48-38 loss at Somerset Thursday. The Panthers bounced back quickly Friday to win a non-conference game at Boyceville 45-30 for their 10th win of the season.

Ellsworth was able to stymie Boyceville’s offense by switching between a half-court defense and a full-court press.

“I think it was just a great team win for us,” EHS head coach Brathol said. “Everybody was just doing their job.”

Jimmy Miska notched 11 points to lead all Ellsworh scorers and snagged eight rebounds as well.

Ellsworth, which improved to 10-6 overall, will play at Amery on Tuesday. Ten wins is the most for an Ellsworth boys' basketball club since 2000.
