Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Ilya Bryzgalov made 25 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, and Taylor Pyatt scored the lone goal in Phoenix's 1-0 victory against Minnesota.

Bryzgalov bounced back from a shaky performance Wednesday against Vancouver, in which he allowed five goals in a 6-0 Coyotes loss. Saturday's effort helped Phoenix win for just the third time in its last nine games.

Niklas Backstrom was the hard-luck loser, stopping 40-of-41 shots as the Wild had their three-game win streak broken.

The game was scoreless through the first two periods, and Backstrom had to make 31 saves over that stretch to keep Phoenix off the board. Bryzgalov stopped 17 shots in the first 40 minutes.

Pyatt put the Coyotes on the board 2:20 into the third period. After a faceoff in Minnesota's end, Phoenix defenseman Sami Lepisto barely kept the puck in the zone and carried it by the left boards. He quickly centered for Pyatt, who wristed a shot by Backstrom.

Bryzgalov stopped all eight shots he faced in the final period to secure the win.
