Minnesota Sports-- The No. 5 Minnesota Golden Gopher wrestling team lost a home dual meet to second-ranked Iowa 19-12 yesterday at Williams Arena.
MINNEAPOLIS - The No. 5 Minnesota Golden Gopher wrestling team lost a home dual to second-ranked Iowa 19-12 yesterday at Williams Arena.
The setback ended Minnesota's seven-dual unbeaten streak, while extending Iowa's string of unbeaten meets to 77 in a row. The win also made Iowa the Big Ten regular season dual-meet championship team.
Minnesota got individual match wins from Danny Zilverberg, Cody Yohn, Scott Glasser and Kevin Steinhaus.
