Jennings big game helps Bucks beat T-Wolves
Regional Sports-- Brandon Jennings tallied 27 points, seven assists and three steals as the Milwaukee Bucks bounced the Minnesota Timberwolves 94-88 last night at the Bradley Center.
MILWAUKEE - Brandon Jennings tallied 27 points, seven assists and three steals as the Milwaukee Bucks bounced the Minnesota Timberwolves 94-88 last night at the Bradley Center.
Corey Maggette chipped in with 20 points and six rebounds off the bench for Milwaukee, which improved to 22-and-34. Kevin Love scored 20 points and grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who fell to 13-44 with their fifth straight loss. Michael Beasley played for the first time in five games and added 21 points for Minnesota in defeat. Former Buck Luke Ridnour scored 12 for the T-Wolves, who’ve now lost six-of-their-last seven annual contests at the Bradley Center.
The Wolves host Memphis tonight. Tonight, the Bucks will play the Knicks in New York. Carmelo Anthony is expected to make his New York debut after being traded yesterday from Denver. He and the Nuggets had defeated the Bucks just last Wednesday.

The Timberwolves included one additional player in the mega-deal that resulted in NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony landing with the New York Knicks. Minnesota sent Corey Brewer to the Knicks and center Kosta Koufos (KOE-stuh KOO-fuss) to Denver as part of the three-team, 13-player deal. Minnesota received Anthony Randolph, the expiring contract of Eddy Curry, and cash from the Knicks. The Wolves also received a second round NBA draft choice for 2015 from Denver.
