The Plum City High School girls' basketball game against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, which was postponed Monday due to the snowstorm, has been rescheduled to Saturday at PCHS. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.

Last night the Blue Devils played inspired basketball to hold down the margin of their loss to No. 11 ranked Mondovi 50-35 at Mondovi.

The Blue Devils were outscored by 15 points in the first half on Tuesday's road game, but they battled back in the second half. Both teams scored 24 points in the second stanza.

"I liked the determination we showed, fighting back in the third quarter to reduce the 15-point halftime lead," Plum City coach Jason Glampe said.

Tiffany Clare led the Blue Devils in scoring with 10 points. Heather Von Holtum tallied seven points and 10 rebounds while Marah Boyer netted nine points and five rebounds.

Plum City (0-16 overall, 0-13 Dunn-St. Croix) plays host to Elk Mound on Friday before taking on the Lancers, who are 7-10 overall. Immanuel presents a good opportunity for PC to win its first game of the season and snap a 37-game losing streak along with their regular season finale next Thursday at Spring Valley. The Devils will be busy the next two weeks, playing at No. 4 Colfax on Monday
