Spring Valley, Elmwood big winners in season finales.

The Cardinals defense played a role in the win and so too the fact PC's Chase Luebker and Tyler Churchill were held out of Thursday's loss to help them get healthy by the start of the postseason.

Spring Valley finished second in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference and Plum City (12-8 overall, 10-6 conference) ended up in third place, one of its best showings in the standings in the last decade. The Blue are tied with Elmwood and Elk Mound.

The Raiders won their final regular season game easily over Independence in a non-conference clash 81-46.
