Lee County, FL (Sports Network) - Jason Kubel batted 2-for-3 and drove in three runs, helping the Minnesota Twins to a 5-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in Grapefruit League play.
Denard Span added two hits for Minnesota, while starter Kevin Slowey allowed only one hit in three shutout innings.
Alexander Torres walked one and gave up one hit in a two-inning start for the Rays. Manny Ramirez doubled, while Justin Ruggiano tripled in defeat.
