Wild lose in OT but still move up in playoff standings

ST. PAUL - Drew Staffords goal just forty-six seconds into overtime sent the visiting Buffalo Sabres to a 3-2 win over Minnesota last night.
Buffalo had a 2-0 lead in the second period but the Wild managed to tie the game and force overtime with two third period goals.
With the regulation tie the Wild picked up one points in the standings moving them from 11th place in the West to tie for 9th just one point behind Los Angeles in the race for a play off spot. Next up for the Wild is Colorado at the Xcel Energy Center tomorrow night.
