The Golden Eagles improved their record to 21-14, earning a game against Syracuse Sunday.
Holloway was the Atlantic 10 player of the year, but he missed his first seven shots and finished with just five points. Marquette led 33-20 at half and was never really seriously threatened.
Jimmy Butler added 15 points for the Golden Eagles. Johnson-Odom made 4-of-6 shots from beyond the arc.
