Wisconsin Sports-- University of Wisconsin point guard Jordan Taylor has been named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press. And senior forward Jon Leuer was an honorable mention.
MADISON - University of Wisconsin point guard Jordan Taylor has been named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press. And senior forward Jon Leuer was an honorable mention.
Taylor became the fourth Badger since 1948 to receive first-or-second-team All-American status. He averaged 18 points a game with an assist-to-turnover ratio of three-point-eight. Taylor also improved his shooting, as he made 43-percent of his field goal attempts – up from 39-percent the year before.
Leuer was the Badgers’ leader in both scoring and rebounds. He scored just 18 a game, while averaging more than seven boards.
