Pollock resigns as Elmwood girls basketball coach
Elmwood will be searching for its fourth girls basketball coach in the last five years as John Pollock announced his resignation yesterday.
ELMWOOD - Elmwood will be searching for its fourth girls basketball coach in the last five years as John Pollock announced his resignation yesterday.
Superintendent Paul Blanford said he received Pollock's letter yesterday and added the Board will act on the letter during its next meeting April 18.
Pollock coached Elmwood the last two years and had a playoff win each year. His record was 10-33.
Pollock was the long-time head coach at Durand and led the Panthers to two state championships and numerous Middle Border Conference titles. He came out of retirement in 2009 to coach the Raider girls' basketball team.
