Crystal Myer Daleiden, 24

Crystal P. Myer Daleiden, age 24, of Lake Elmo, Minn., formerly of Ellsworth, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Fairview University Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn., following a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis.

Crystal was born Dec. 13, 1986, in River Falls, Wis., the daughter of Steven and Helen (Henthorne) Myer. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School.

Despite her lifelong battle with C.F., Crystal enjoyed her life to the fullest. Crystal loved her animals and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed making people happy. Crystal also enjoyed watching her brothers in the Demo-Derbies, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and raising money through various events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Zach; mother, Helen Henthorne; brothers, Tim (Jessica) Myer and Duane "Dewy" Henthorne; niece, Kenzie Henthorne; maternal grandmother, Patricia Henthorne. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Her father, Steven; grandparents Melvin and Margaret Myer and Gifford Henthorne Sr. preceded her in death.

Services for Crystal will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Ellsworth. Rev. Susan Schneider-Adams will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends and family may call at the church on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and for 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Urn bearers will be her husband, Zach; brothers, Tim and Dewy.
