SV-PC edged Clear Lake 5-4 in a non-conference contest.
The Cardinals scored most of their runs in the second inning and held on for the win. Winning pitcher Rachel Samdahl went four innings and struck out nine batters. McKenna Mattison pitched the rest of the way for the save.
Riley Harrison led Spring Valley-PC with two hits and two RBIs. Megan Manor and Mattison also had two hits.
