New Spring Valley-PC head coach win's first game
Amy Shafer's first game as Spring Valley-Plum City head softball coach was a successful one Monday.
SPRING VALLEY - Amy Shafer's first game as Spring Valley-Plum City head softball coach was a successful one Monday.
SV-PC edged Clear Lake 5-4 in a non-conference contest.
The Cardinals scored most of their runs in the second inning and held on for the win. Winning pitcher Rachel Samdahl went four innings and struck out nine batters. McKenna Mattison pitched the rest of the way for the save.
Riley Harrison led Spring Valley-PC with two hits and two RBIs. Megan Manor and Mattison also had two hits.
