Elmwood baseball team blasts Clear Lake 20-0

ELMWOOD - The ratio of hits to runs was a wide one for Elmwood's baseball team against Clear Lake Tuesday but they won't mind as the Raiders ripped the Warriors for a 20-0 shutout victory Tuesday in five innings.

EHS only had seven hits in the ballgame compared to the number of runs they scored. But the hits were big ones as Bryce Unser had a home run and six RBIs while Nate Olson also had two hits with a double. Elmwood led 9-0 after the first inning and had their 20 runs at the end of the third inning.

Winning pitcher Brian Tolonen threw a one-hitter and struck out seven batters. The Raiders are 2-1 overall.
