The Golden Gopher football team practiced yesterday for the ninth time of the spring football practice period. Wide receiver Da'Jon McKnight sat out most of the practice after tweaking his knee early in the session. He left the field to go to the training room and later returned with the knee iced and taped. He watched the rest of practice from the sidelines. Head coach Jerry Kill did not seem to think the injury was serious, although McKnight will get evaluated today. The team has another practice tomorrow afternoon, followed by an evening practice on Friday.
