WWEMS takes management role at Ellsworth Ambulance Service
Now that Director Bill Brookshaw and Assistant Director Brenda Kenall have left the Ellsworth Ambulance Service, the service’s operating committee has arranged for Western Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services (WWEMS) to assist with management of the ambulance.

Now that Director Bill Brookshaw and Assistant Director Brenda Kenall have left the Ellsworth Ambulance Service, the service’s operating committee has arranged for Western Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services (WWEMS) to assist with management of the ambulance.
In a letter to the Herald accompanying copies of Brookshaw’s and Kenall’s resignation letters, Chair Barry Foy of the operating committee and the outgoing director wrote, “WWEMS is a member of the HealthPartners family of care…
“Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service remains committed to providing the high level of care the residents of our service area have come to expect,” they wrote. “We also remain committed to continuing to provide ALS intercepts as we have in the past.”
