BALTIMORE - Vladimir Guerrero's three-run blast in the eighth inning capped the Orioles 11-0 win over the Twins Tuesday.
Brian Roberts went 2-for-5 and drove in three runs for the Orioles, while Matt Wieters was 2-for-3 with four RBI. Jake Arrieta picked up the win by tossing six shutout innings for the Orioles, who snapped an eight-game skid.
Carl Pavano was tagged with the loss after giving up eight runs, seven earned, in four-and-two-thirds innings of work. Minnesota had a two-game win streak halted. The same two teams play tonight at 6:05 p.m.

In the AL Central, the Chicago White Sox have lost six straight after falling at Tampa Bay, 2-1. James Shields threw his sixth career complete game, and ex-Brewer Felipe Lopez drove in one of Tampa’s runs. Carlos Quentin doubled and scored the White Sox’ only run. The Detroit Tigers got pounded at Seattle, 13-3. Chone Figgins went 3-for-4 with three RBI’s, as the Mariners evened the series. Phil Coke took the loss, giving up six runs.
