(Minneapolis, MN) -- University of Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill says standout receiver Da'Jon McKnight will miss Saturday's annual Spring Game with a sore knee.

Kill says keeping the pass catcher out is more a precaution than anything else. He is the top returning receiver on the team, having grabbed ten touchdown passes a year ago. Kill says the trainers are not overly concerned about the tweak of the knee and fully expect him to be 100-percent by next fall.

Saturday's spring game begins at 1 p.m. at TCF Bank Stadium. Kill says his top goal for the game is to have his team be injury free.
